Denture Care

Polident put out a booklet on the care of dentures, which I give out with new dentures. You can also download the booklet by clicking on the image on the right of this page.

The main points are that toothpaste is not recommended for cleaning the dentures.  Soaking, brushing and rinsing the denture using special denture products is a better way to keep the dentures in good condition.

Just like natural teeth, dentures require cleaning morning and night. Take special care to clean along the gum line and where your dentures join your natural teeth.
